I've had a difficult time finding a baseboard heater cover solution. You mention they are available at stores and websites, but I can't find anything simple that doesn't involve taking out the nails!
The video you post is a pretty cool solution. No tools needed and manufacturer direct sales. I ordered a couple to try and they just slip over top of the existing crappy heater. Very happy with their look too.
